Question in regards to OB Coding :confused:..
Patient comes in for their post partum visit and they also do a pelvic exam with a pap.
Per the payor we are not allowed to bill the G0101 and Q0091 on the same day as an E/M visit. So I am only going to bill the 99213 for the visit.. I know I need the V24.2 for the DX. Would I also add the V72.31 and V76.2 to my E/M visit for the pap and pelvic even if I am not billing for it?

Hi, my understanding is the pap and pelvis exam are part of the global delivery billing and therfore cannot be billed. If the Patient delivered elsewhere then one can bill 59430 with
diagnosis V242.
