A 425 lb patient with hx of abdominal abscesses presented to Urgent Care with three post-op wounds from a procedure performed before moving from another state. The wounds are open and draining. The provider coded this visit as S31.109A as open wound of abdomen. Obviously this is an unspecified code but I'm at a loss when trying to code this visit.

Should this visit be coded as a non-pressure skin ulcer due to obesity? I don't even know where to begin.......
