WE are a radiology office, we interpret for the hospital. Pt came in for a Vas Venous Duplex UE Left side, due to swelling of the hand. They were concerned for a DVT. The patient had a tranplant in a different state earlier that month. Aetna is denying our claim as being global to the transplant. I tried talking with Aetna and they told me to get the payment from the hospital that did the tranplant. OF cousrse they said no that it is not included in the the payment they received. Any Ideas, before I send a strongly worded letter to Aetna
