Question. My ortho dr is doing a posterior tibial tendon excision with other procedures. unable to find any code for this. Do we go unlisted?

Look at it like this - what kind of tendon is the posterior tibial tendon (flexor, extensor..?). You can use the Muscle/Tendon Table (Chapter 13/19) in ICD-10 for help. Once you know that then you would be guided to the correct area of CPT depending on the tendon type. Not all can be looked up by proper name but by function.
