I need help with code 99024 postoperative follow-up . I know where to find it in the CPT book but I forgot to find it in the index.

Can someone please tell me how to go about and look for this code in the index? Or should I just don't worry about it since I know the code by heart?

What do all you experience coder do when you know a code by heart, do you still look in the index or you just go to the code?
