Can and EM be billed if the provider prescribes medication for postpartum depression during global Postpartum visit?
 
There is a great coding question/response from ACOG regarding Postpartum Depression Screening and what is billable/not billable during the global postpartum period. The guidance states that if the provider diagnoses depression it may be reported separately. However, some payers may still consider it bundled so you may need to check with your payers as to whether or not they consider it part of the routine postpartum care.
