I have a group that bills all OB care separate..nothing is global. I am having a hard time determining how to bill the postpartum. I have looked at code 59430, but I am reading it as a "global" code for all postpartum visits. Is this true? What if one doctor delivers the pt, another sees the pt for hospital postpartum days and and a third for the outpt follow up postpartum? Should I bill the 59430 for each dr that sees the patient for postpartum? In need of some direction please!
