Wiki PQRS with NP's

I currently work in a surgeons office. The NP works with the Surgeon and provides some services alone. We are reporting the perioperative care measures group for the PQRS. My question is with that set of codes, can I report them on both the Surgeons claims and the NP claims and both providers receive credit for the patient? I cannot find any guide for that. I read where it said that the providers are accessed individually by their NPI but the payments go to the tax ID (which both providers are under).
So, I am asking if the NP assisted with surgery, is it appropriate to include the same G codes on his claim as it is the Surgeons, and both of them get credit for documenting the measures?

Thanks!!!

Unless you choose to report with the group reporting option, both need to submit the quality data codes.

However, you need to get the answers directly from an official source. Call or open a ticket by emailing Quality Net:
