Hello! I'm doing practicode right now and am perplexed as to the comments on Medicare. Every single question in Module 1 has a note about either ...follow medicare rules..... medicare rules if over 65 y.o, or private payer, medicare rules if 65 or older etc. I don't understand why every single question has this note. Just tell me which patient is on Medicare, don't make me guess! Sometimes it says medicare for 65 and older, but the patient in the case is 21...so what is the point of putting that note in? If they are on disability, just tell me they are on medicare. I'm on a case now that the patient is 64 but it says follow medicare rules. I don't know which ones to apply to which.
