I've completed the course for CPC, and I'm currently doing all the pre-exam studies. After I get the CPC, I hear it's nearly impossible to get a job in medical coding. So there's "Practicode" which is another fee to do the 600 cases and remove the "A" on the certification. Is this worth it? I mean, I did this to find a good job, and I feel like I'm pumping money into the "prepare" portion. If this is totally necessary and will help, I'll do it. My ultimate goal is to work remotely with medical coding. Any suggestions or advice on this??
