I was just informed by a co-worker that one of her insurance companies mentioned that we should be using a "Pre-Op procedure" code instead of an e/m code (this insurance company no longer accepts consult codes). I cannot find any procedure code in the CPT book related to a 'Pre-Op' exam. Is there one?
