Does anyone send there pre-op and post-op charges to the insurance companies????

Global E/M services

E/M services considered global to the primary surgical procedure are not billed to insurance company. We do use 99024 for postoperative care, but those "claims" are never sent out; stricly used for internal tracking purposes. We also have a dummy code we can use for the H&P or pre-op outpatient visit that is bundled.

Hope that helps.
