I am having trouble finding the section for APC's or in CMS that addresses whether a facility that does pre-surgical testing for patients who are having the surgery elsewhere can get paid for the testing, or if that testing is bundled into the surgical package. I know if different PHYSICIANS perform this testing, they are paid separately from the surgeon, but this also apply to the facilities?
