Hello Everyone,

A patient who is 6 weeks pregnant presents with pelvic pain. Past medical history includes morbid obesity, and the physical exam documents BMI as 50. The physician does not mention any pregnancy complication related to morbid obesity. Should ICD-10 code O99.211 (Obesity complicating pregnancy, first trimester) be assigned in this scenario?
