A patient presents to the office beacuse she wants to start contraception of medroxyprogesterone. In order to do this, she must have two negative pregnancy tests. How do you code this? Would you report the V72 code for the negative preganancy test in addition to a code from the V25 category for the contraception, or just the V72 code? Just need direction here on which way to go. Thanks.
