Our ASC manager was told by our new ophthalmologist the hospital he did his residency got paid for PanOptix through the VA.
An OPTUM CCN rep told her to get the code added to the auth and yes they will pay.
Just curious, as anyone else had OPTUM pay?? Our local VAs have not provided auths for years and OPTUM follows Medicare guidelines.

saddie2k, I got a back line to a local VA and spoke with head of their vision clinic/ophthalmology dept.
The VA (Optum, any local, etc) will only cover Torics if the vet is at a VA facility. Which is what I knew, but now I have proof.
