Can anyone tell me the proper way to use code Z76.0 ? SHould this code be used when it is the only reason a pt is coming into see a provider ?

yes, we have to use this code if the patient visit is only for the repeated Prescription for the existing condition without exacerbation of the condition. If the condition is exacerbation we can’t use Z76.0.
