Left BKA stump pressure ulcer(stage not documented)

any help will be greatly appreciated
 
I would definitely inquire to the provider on the stage and site, but if you can't or do not get any additional information and that is all you have you would only be able to code L89.90 Pressure ulcer of unspecified site, unspecified stage.
You also want to additional code the BKA Z89.512 Acquired absence of left leg below knee.
 
If you're unable to obtain the stage of the ulcer, I would take it to L89.899. I would not take it to L89.90 because the site is specified as the BKA amputation stump.
