Medicare and many commercial payers provided benefits for preventive screening and counseling for depressions, alcohol misuse, tobacco cessation, obesity, cardiovascular. Is it appropriate to bill the screening services with the IPPE, AWV, or commercial PE? I know the counseling cannot be billed with the annueal PE.
