I work for a medical billing company and we just took on a new client. This practice has been using two sets of pricing codes- one for Medicare and Medicaid and one for private pay and commercial insurance. (He charges less for Medicare and Medicaid.) I am fairly certain this is a no no but need to know where I can find something in writing to give to the practice so they will believe the "new guys". Any help would be appreciated!
