Greetings to all.....

Can anyone help me to understand what is primary care physician coding.

What exactly it is and how the things going on?

Regards,
Abhishek

Primary care physician coding is basically E&M coding and some office procedures. The PCP's in which I code for provide basic office services and some minor procedures such as: lesion removals, therapeutic injections, immunizations, wart removals, etc. Each practice is somewhat different as some of these PCP's will also provide some joint aspirations/injections, sometimes fracture care and casting. Mostly E&M coding is probably the majority of this type of coding.
