These are brief scenarios for inpt admissions. I appreciate your thoughts for the Principle Dx?
Patient has had fatigue and fever prior to ED and had positive test for covid 19. Also, complaining of lightheadedness. On admission, pt is being kept on IVF for orthostatic hypotension and is treated for Covid.
Patient with acute chest pain, suspect possibly GERD. Also, patient found to have Covid19 infection, no antiviral treatment. Continue monitor oxygenation.
Patient presented for altered mental status. Metabolic encephalopathy as reason for altered mental status and Covid19.
