As of late, it seems that I am getting inquiries from many of my offices telling me that they are receiving denials for a procedure and office visit on the same day. Most of the time it is because they are using the same Dx. That shouldn't be a problem, though, because I found information on the WPS Medicare website saying that you don't have to have a different Dx for this to get paid. Is anyone else having this issue? I'd like to know how this is being handled by other coders...Thanks! :)
