A drug rep told the doctor that he could bill out for a procedure room. Has anyone heard of this? If so, what code would we use and what is the reimbursement. This is for a Tenotomy procedure.

Thanks,
Caroline

I would believe the procedure room would fall under the revenue code that would be billed with the CPT such as revenue code 360 operating room for the tenotomy in a hospital or revenue code 490 for an ASC.
