Patient suffered burn & crush injury to hand. One of our surgeons cleaned & irrigated the wound and noted tendon injury that would be addressed on another visit, BUT he placed Integra matrix around the tendons in anticipation of future surgeries. The coder initially reported with CPT 15275and PCS 86.67. CPT 15275 is for a dermal graft, which doesn't sound appropriate and it's getting kicked back. I came up with PCS 86.67 for plastic procedure, but can't come up with CPT. ?????? Has anyone else coding something similar?
