Critical care time 99291, when a procedure is done such as a 31500, do you subtract the time for the procedure from the critical care time? Or is the procedure time included in the critical care time???

You must subtract time for any separately billable service/procedure done from the critical care time. If it is not indicated how much time was spent on a procedure then you can not bill critical care, only the procedure.

This is per direction from WPSMedicare.
