Wiki Prolonged service codes inpatient setting

Dr. A documents and performs an admission (99223). Dr. B later that day performs a prolonged service. Both physicians are under the same tax ID#. Under which physician would I bill the prolonged service? Based on the CMS guidelines the veribage is specific to total duration of time by the same physician. I would appreciate some clarification on this.
