What is everyone using now that we cant use 55700. Is there a set code that you are using?

We haven't performed any since the code was deleted, but we're planning on following these guidelines: https://www.aapc.com/codes/coding-n...rocedure-cpt-codes-in-2026-179842-article/rci. From what I understand, it'll be 55707 for a transrectal approach, and 55709 for a transperineal approach, both of which include ultrasound guidance. If US guidance is not used, then 55705 should be used. The descriptor for 55705 changed from "incisional, any approach", to just "any approach, nonimaging-guided", so it seems like they essentially combined 55700 and 55705. There are also new guidelines listed in that article for MRI-fusion-guidance.
