good morning I have a question hoping someone can give me some input. If the provider is seeing the patient monitoring the patients lens, cleaning etc. we are using one of the blindness diagnosis. One of the providers were asking if we can use z97.0 prosthetic eye as a diagnosis. I think it should be okay but I want to know if anyone else uses this diagnosis.
Also has any one used the HCPS code V2624 - which is polishing the eye and getting paid from a medical plan? any input regarding the prosthetic eye would be helpful
