I have a provider who has the patient come into the office to have their blood drawn and spun down in the office. The patient immediately goes to a surgery center where the PRP is then injected into their facet joints. Code either 64493 or 64490. The Surgery Center wants to make the patients self pay on their end, however my provider is also doing Lidocaine or Marcaine blocks as well and our office is providing the PRP kit. help!! Can they bill the facet blocks to insurance?
