We are an OB-GYN office and are looking to start PQRS this month. We want to do the Preventive Care Group Measure. We have a question though. Are we only eligible to get credit for this group measure when performing an e/m service (eg. 99212-99215 & 99202-99205)? Medicare gudelines for pap smear and pelvic/breast exams are G and Q codes, not traditional e/m codes. These are the visits where this information would be obtained. It seems silly that you can't get credit for preventive care measures when you are providing a preventive care visit. Does anyone have any more information on this?

Thanks!!
