Can anyone point me in the right direction for CMS guidelines on the billing/payment of psychotherapy by multiple providers in a group practice on the same date of service? For example, patient is seen by psychiatrist who performs psychotherapy in addition to E/M service AND properly documents both, and is also seen by psychologist for psychotherapy. Thanks.
