Is there a CPT/HCPCS code for pronouncing a patient deceased? A physician in our office went to the patient's home (assisted living) to pronounce her deceased for the body to be removed. Would a discharge code of some sort be appropriate? Could it be coded as a domiciliary visit (99334 - 99337)? Help!!
