Pt goes on hospice after been seen in office

Doc sees an elderly patient in the morning in our clinic. Later that day, the patient takes a turn for the worse and doc is called out to the patient's home and starts hospice services. Can the office visit be billed seperately than the hospice charges? Thanks for your input.
