My physician has given me a physicans order form for PT/INR home monitoring service for coumadin. He would like to know if we could bell for this service. The patient is not under a homecare service. Thanks for any input.
 
I believe there is a G code applicable for this. We have billed a few of these, just started using them for our patients. Do not have the books with me to tell you which ones to use.

I don't have my books on me either, but i believe it should be G0250; try that or look up codes in that G025_ descriptions.

Is the G0250 just for Medicare, if so what would be the commercial payor equivalent for physician enterpretation and report of protime tests?
