Wiki Pta/thrombectomy has 90 days global

Please help,
Humana is denying subsequent visits as 90 days (global) after pta/thrombectomy of the femoral artery.

You need to add a 24 modifier to E & M visits during the Post Op period. However before you append a 24 modifier you need to verify that the pt was seeing for a reason other than the procedure that was performed (read the definition in the Appendix A of the CPT.) If it is just a normal post operative follow up you can not bill for subsequent visit.
