My provider is billing subsequent hospital. These patients are either on vent support or a trach. What would the overall risk for managing the vent support or trach care? For example, the patient has acute resp. failure, altelecasis, pulm HTN, tracheostomy. The patient is requiring full vent support for ARF. Just struggling with credit under the Management Options part on the table of risk.
