Pump/chemo teach

My first question is are we allowed to charge a 99211 when a pt comes in to get his pump disconnected by a nurse? Can we charge a 99211 when a nurse does a chemo teach with a patient?
 
In answer to your first question, you cannot charge a 99211 with a pump d/c.

Most of our nurse teachings are done on the same day as the patient sees the doctor so we don't charge for those, however, if that is the only appointment that day and the nurse has good documentation then we charge a 99211. Hope that helps.
