My doctor wants to charge a foreign body removal for a punctal plug that he did NOT place. My thought is no, he can only charge for the office visit. Does anyone else agree/disagree??? I feel like its the same as a suture removal, doesn't matter who put it there it's not really a foreign body, like metal or wood.
