We have a wound care provider that is applying Puracol as a wound dressing for patients, we can't bill the A6023 HCPCS code, but does any one know if there is another CPT that may fit for the application of the dressing outside of a global period, or would we just be billing an office visit for the evaluation of the wound?
 
is this for a partial thickness burn? if so you can charge range 16000-16030 if just dressing change for any other reason there are no codes and is just part of the E/M.
