Has anyone come across a scenario like this? Pt had surgery. Puraply XT graft was applied. Q4197. 10 used, 15 reported waste. 1 week later, patient returns for another application. The 15 (wasted) units are being used on the same patient for their next visit. We would not bill any units of Q4197 as they were reported on previous visit but would the graft cpt code 1527___ be billable in this case. TIA
