I need know if I can code PVD and ather. of lower ext. together and if the pt is DM with what would be the link E11.59 or E11.69 ?
 
PVD means it is the disease of vessels other than cardiac vessels. If the patient has PVD as well as atherosclerosis of lower extermity with DM then we will code it as E11.51 ( DM with PVD) and I70.209 for the atherosclerosis of the artery.. Happy coding :)
