I have recieved denials on my Defibrillator insertions stating that I need to add a Q0 modifier. I only do Physician billing and we are not a Hospital. I do know the requirements for using this modifier, but per the Cardiology conference I went to in May this modifier is only a facility modifier. Has anyone else seen this, or have any information on this? The only information I can seem to find is a few years old...
