When billing Telehealth facility fee does there need to be a billing provider on the claim? We have a facility that only has an RN available when the patient is seeing our Mental health provider through telehealth services. They want to bill a facility fee but I am thinking they can't bill for that unless a supervising provider is in the office?? Any help on how to bill this code would be appreciated.
 
I am going to post on this question to see if I can generate some discussion. We have a fee-for-service clinic that is acting as a originating telehealth site for patients to see a telehealth endocrinologist. There is only a nurse in the clinic to facilitate the TH service at our originating site. We had been putting the endo name on our claims but we have a new credentialing service that states that is incorrect. What provider name should be on the claim we submit for the Q3014 service?
