My Dr performed an Arrest, distal femur & proximal tibia and put CPT code 27479. He did not document any proximal fibula which is in the CPT descriptor.

There is no CPT code that describes JUST distal femur AND proximal tibia (just the 2). Before I go back to him does anyone have any suggestions? Should I use 27479-52 to describe a reduced procedure? I can tell you now he won't go for that - but I want to have as much info as possible.

Thanks..;)
