I work for an Orthopedic Office. The Dr. performs a 29870 (IME) in the office. He determines that the patient needs a Total Knee Replacement, and surgery is scheduled. (Within the global period of the 29870 (arthroscopy). Does anyone know if both will be paid with the correct modifier on the 27447. Thank you in advance!
