hello
our physician said he wants to do same day discharge patients after watchman procedure. he said this is done at other facilities . i told him there is no 2 mn rule but still they have tobe admitted 24hrs atleast tobe considered as inpt.
am i correct ? any thoughts? what payers are paying less then 24hrs?
