Hello, can someone please advise if it is appropriate to bill for this service? NP went to the patient's house for an Insertion of temporary indwelling bladder catheter; simple, which required guide wire. The patient's PCA is her husband and the provider noted that she assisted the husband with the insertion and and she reported 51702, is it appropriate for this to be reported as if the provider changed the Cath as she noted she assisted the PCA with the insertion?
