Hello, i am trying to find the correct procedure code and icd-10 code for a surgical procedure done by specialty gyn physicians. The procedure they are doing is called an isthmocele resection done thru the hysteroscope. I cannot find the word isthmocele in any of the coding books. I am told that this is scar tissue resulting from a c-section. I am currently using code 58559 with a diagnostic code of adhesions n88.1 or n73.6. The insurance companies are paying for this procedure code, however, i want to make sure that i am coding correctly. Any help/comments are much appreciated. Thanks.
