A patient had a sebaceous cyst removed which had a 10 day global period, then she came back for a follow up visit on day 11 to have the stitches removed. Since its past the global period by 1 day can a 99212 be billed out for the follow up visit?
 
I probably wouldn't bill it at all. it may be outside the global period by days its really typical post op followup care.

Although if you could 99211 would probably be more appropriate.
